Following the official opening of Nidec's new home appliance business unit, the Nidec Qingdao Industrial Park, on July 9th, Nidec Global Appliances, a subsidiary of the division, recently signed a strategic technology cooperation framework agreement with Hisense Kitchen Appliances. A ceremony was held to unveil the "Joint Research Center for Dishwasher Power" at the Nidec Qingdao Industrial Park. This partnership aims to deepen R&D collaboration in core dishwasher washing and heating pump technologies, driving product performance upgrades.
Nidec Global Electric is a core supplier to Hisense and its European brand, Gorenje, primarily providing motors for home appliances. The strong technical expertise and close communication between Nidec's and Hisense's R&D teams in Europe and Qingdao, China, laid the foundation for the partnership.
